The $TODA token

$TODA is the asset the network runs on. It coordinates who validates memory, whose memory gets kept, and how access and contribution are priced.

Staking and validation

Holders stake $TODA behind memory they believe is worth keeping. Stakers are the network's validators: stake is what puts the AI validation layer to work over a data sequence and decides whether that data earns a place as memory. The same stake produces the network's signal, S, used for ranking, spam resistance, and rewards. S reflects conviction that memory is worth keeping. It does not prove that a fact is true.

Utility

$TODA is designed for:

  • staking and validation
  • network service fees
  • contributor rewards
  • access to data and memory services
  • settlement in the memory exchange

Staking is the initial utility. Each further use is switched on as the network service behind it ships.

How value accrues

Every memory that enters the network is validated, stored, and owned through the same asset. As more memory flows in, more validation, access, and settlement route through $TODA, and demand to hold and stake it tracks the memory the network carries rather than the fortunes of any single app built on top of it.

Memory exchange

The memory exchange needs a common asset to price access and reward contributors. $TODA settles it.
